Pilar Lopez, President Meet Pilar, our 2021 - 2023 President. Pilar Lopez was born & raised in the Coachella Valley and returned home after college due to her love of her desert community. She has been an active member with the Junior League since 2016 and served as New Member Chair, Fashion Week Chair, and Recording Secretary. In 2018, she received the Member of the Year award for her service. Pilar is a city planner at the City of Rancho Mirage and her life's mission is #buildingbettercommunities, which she strives to do with her day job and charitable involvements. She enjoys volunteering with local non-profits, such as St. Jude's The Warburton, hiking the surrounding mountains, and snuggling with her cat George. Pilar is excited to begin building a new solid foundation for the Junior League.

Nivie Kaul, Vice President of Operations and Finance Meet Nivie, our 2021 - 2023 Vice President of Operations and Finance. Nivie is a new resident of Palm Springs who is glad to get away from the freezing winters of the East Coast, yet struggles with the Desert heat. She is a globe trotter, voracious reader (thanks, Kindle Unlimited), dabbles in DIY, and aspires to be an amateur builder. Nivie believes in the mission of the Junior League, equal opportunity, and is inspired by strong female role models to encourage all women to explore their full potential. She is a graduate of the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California. |

Nicky Faeth, Vice President of Communications Meet Nicky, our 2021 - 2023 VP of Communications. Nicky is an accomplished communications professional with expertise in diverse sectors ranging from entertainment, international relations, politics and tourism. A graduate of UCSB, Nicky earned dual degrees in Global & International Studies and Latin American & Iberian Studies. As an undergrad, Nicky accepted several prestigious internships at the US Department of State, The World Bank, and The White House. Upon graduation, she was appointed to a political position in the U.S. Department of Commerce. Nicky's passion for the performing arts took her to the entertainment industry in 2006 where she joined the Hollywood powerhouse William Morris Agency and later, United Talent Agency. Due to her success, Nicky was recommended and accepted to Georgetown's Master of Public Relations and Corporate Communications Program. Following Georgetown, Nicky was recruited to join BigSpeak Speakers Bureau in Santa Barbara, CA. In 2015, Nicky moved to be closer to her mother and joined the Greater Palm Springs Convention & Visitor's Bureau. As the Communications Manager, Nicky was responsible for marketing the nine cities of Greater Palm Springs as a premier travel destination. Nicky currently remains active as a member of the Junior League, Public Relations Society of America, and The National Press Club. She is engaged to local attorney Jonathan A. Goldstein. |
